The John Hilliards came on the "Ark and Dove Expedition" from Somerset County, England to Somerset County, Maryland.  A descendant, William Hilliard, married Mary Daniel about 1808-1810 and came to Hilliard's Crossroads, Pike County, Alabama in 1851.  Their descendants are named.  Published April 1966.
