This publication includes sketches of 17 Revolutionary War Veterans who lived and/or died in Pike County. As we celebrate America’s 250th anniversary, we remember the sacrifices of these ordinary men who took up the cause for freedom so many years ago.  It is our honor to recognize them for what they did to secure the freedoms we enjoy today, as well as for how they helped to shape this place we call home.
